He now spends his time conducting neuropsychological evaluations in several of UVA’s multidisciplinary clinics pertaining to neurodegenerative diseases, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and neuro-oncology. His research tends to be functionally based, focusing on clinical utility and psychometric properties of measures, education and training in neuropsychology, as well as psychoeducation on disorders and methods of best practice for treatment.
As Chair of the Association of Neuropsychology Students and Trainees, Dr. Driskell serves as a committee member on SCN’s Education Advisory Committee. His interests in education and training include bolstering student advocacy through involvement in professional organizations, and development of workshops and materials aimed at improving neuropsychology training throughout graduate school.
